Accomodation

The accommodation comprises of a lounge, dining room, two bedrooms and bathroom. Ground floor entrance hall lobby, with stairs leading to mezzanine landing with second toilet. Further stairs up to main living area.

The lounge is extremely comfortable with its hole in the wall gas fire and two leather sofas, a three seater and two seater. It also has a TV, with freeview and a DVD player. Double, leaded glass sliding doors, lead to a very spacious dining room. There is a large pine table that seats six and a convertible (metal action) bed settee. The double doors can be used to separate the rooms or left open and used as one large room. There is a serving hatch through to the kitchen.

The modern kitchen is fully fitted to a high specification, offering use of a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher as well as built-in gas hob and double electric oven and fridge. Kitchen has all the usual cooking equipment and utensils including toaster, microwave and electric steamer.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, one double room and one twin. Mortepoint can be seen from the main bedroom whilst the second bedroom has views to the surrounding national trust countryside and village towards St Mary’s church. There is a large family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Parking is available nearby.

The ground floor of the building houses Mortehoe Village Stores, which is also owned and operated by us. The store is open throughout the year, supplying locals and visitors alike, offering a selection of fresh, locally produced foods, including free range and organic products wherever possible.

Facilities and Services:

We provide bed linen and towels.
Gas fired central heating, gas fire, and electricity are all included in the accommodation rate.
We regret that no pets are allowed in the accommodation.
Smoking is not allowed in any part of the building.
For weekly bookings, the arrival time is 3pm on Saturdays.
Short breaks are also available on request.

Upon arrival, visitors will find a welcome pack of goodies. While the accommodation is self catering, Mel and Cliff Jennings, who run the store, can supply a full range of groceries and drinks. Perfect if you want to avoid a big shopping trip. To take full advantage of this service, let us know what you want in advance.
