Accomodation The accommodation comprises of a lounge, dining room, two bedrooms and bathroom. Ground floor entrance hall lobby, with stairs leading to mezzanine landing with second toilet. Further stairs up to main living area. The lounge is extremely comfortable with its hole in the wall gas fire and two leather sofas, a three seater and two seater. It also has a TV, with freeview and a DVD player. Double, leaded glass sliding doors, lead to a very spacious dining room. There is a large pine table that seats six and a convertible (metal action) bed settee. The double doors can be used to separate the rooms or left open and used as one large room. There is a serving hatch through to the kitchen. The modern kitchen is fully fitted to a high specification, offering use of a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher as well as built-in gas hob and double electric oven and fridge. Kitchen has all the usual cooking equipment and utensils including toaster, microwave and electric steamer. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one double room and one twin. Mortepoint can be seen from the main bedroom whilst the second bedroom has views to the surrounding national trust countryside and village towards St Mary’s church. There is a large family bathroom with bath and separate shower. A free, dedicated, parking space for one car is available in the residents area of the village car park with further paying parking if required. The ground floor of the building houses Mortehoe Village Stores, which is also owned and operated by us. Facilities and Services: Bed linen and towels only. Gas fired centeral heating and electricity included. We regret no pets This is a non-smoking establishment. 3pm arrival time. Short breaks available. Arrival and departure for weekly bookings is Saturday. Payment is 33% deposit and the balance six weeks prior to your stay. Upon arrival visitors will find a ‘Welcome Basket’ that includes tea, milk, bread, butter, juice, a bottle of wine, and more! Plus, for those visitors who do not want to travel with a box of cans etc, Mel and Cliff Jennings, who run the store, can supply a range of groceries and drinks that will be waiting on arrival. All chilled goods will be placed in the fridge for safe keeping. If you wish to take advantage of this service, let us know what you want when you make your booking. Mortehoe Village Stores is open throughout the year supporting locals and visitors alike. The village store has a selection of locally produced and organic foods, and wherever possible uses free range products.
